Actually to tell you the truth, it works both ways and if anything the little ones probably boss you around even more than you do them.
But on with the story...
I was bored outta my tree yesterday and wanted to do something to pre-occupy myself. Now, I don't know who came up with the idea (her or I) but I proceeded to do my baby sister Stefanie's hair.
After much hair spray and nearly an hour and a half later, this masterpiece surfaced.

I enjoy it when my bep comes to town because I usually go shopping and do girly things that I normally wouldn't do. If it's clothes shopping we do, I make her try on the raddest things that she usually passes right on by. And it's usually those things that she ends up buying.
If it's shoe shopping, I also make her try on the biggest heels, or the brightest color out there. Of course she never buys them, but it's time well spent. This is also my excuse to do this as well because I can "blame" it on the little one (though she isn't that little anymore, were the same height).
Since the kid could walk I've managed to turn her into my own real & alive barbie doll, which is so much better than those plastic ones you can hold in your hand.
Anyway, going back to the hair. I don't mention it much but I can do hair and I'm pretty good at it. Why I don't is because I don't want to be the designated hairstylist on a friday night before a GNO (girls night out if you didn't get it).
Over the years though, I have to admit, my bep had some of the coolest hairstyles around. I remember taking her to Blizzard games at 5-years-old with bridal party updos. The older girls couldn't help but stare and wish their hair looked as good as hers.
These days, I think she appreciates her hairdos more. And she can also sit still now too. hehehe...
